This course is designed for those working in retirement homes or assisted living facilities whereby their job requirement only requires First Aid training.
This class will focus on Seniors and potential injuries they could sustain at the facility including falling and breaking a hip or major bone, potential head injury and how to assess the patient for more significant signs of trauma over the next 72 hours. The course will identify how to save someone who is choking including how to assist a wheelchair bound patient who is choking.
Come ready to role play! It will be fun and informative!
Certification:
Two year certification through Medic, approved for Occupational Settings

An understanding of basic English is required.
