This 3 hour course will cover the basics of:
•Discussion of choking prevention
•How to assist an infant, child or adult who is choking
•How to assist an infant, child or adult who is not breathing
•How to perform CPR with confidence for an infant, child and adult
•How to recognize the signs and symptoms of a head injury.
•Calling 911 on a landline and a cell phone
•Programming ICE (In Case of Emergency) numbers into your cell phone
•Ensuring scene safety
Participants will receive a Medic First Aid CarePlus Certification Card (Two year course completion card) for Infants, Children and Adults. ICE Safety Solutions will donate $10.00 per person to The Olivia Rose Raspanti Scholarship Fund. This training course and fund has been created in memory of Olivia Rose Raspanti who departed us at the age of two. Olivia choked on a raw carrot at her preschool and passed away. All proceeds of the fund will go to help childcare providers attain CPR/First Aid training.
Certification:
