In accordance with the 2005 Guidelines for CPR and ECC, MEDIC FIRST AID has released an updated version of its Pediatric CPR and First Aid training program. This new version of Pediatric has been divided into two programs: Pediatric and PediatricPlus. The PediatricPlus program incorporates AED training, as well as CPR and first aid, into the course itself rather than as a supplemental add-on. Pediatric V6.0 is essentially the same as PediatricPlus without the AED training. One set of instructional materials (Instructor Guide and VHS or DVD) covers both the PediatricPlus V6.0 and Pediatric V6.0 training programs. However, PediatricPlus and Pediatric require different student packs.

Wallet Skill Guide
*Note: The PediatricPlus CPR, AED, and First Aid Student Guide is the same for both the Pediatric and PediatricPlus programs. The Successful Completion Cards, however, are specific to either Pediatric or PediatricPlus.

The Pediatric Training Programs are designed for the occupational first aid provider and can help employers meet OSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for training employees how to respond and care for medical emergencies involving children and infants, as well as adults.
