SUMMARY:American Heart Association BLS For Healthcare Providers
DESCRIPTION:The BLS Healthcare Provider course is hosted at our Fremont\, CA training center in the East Bay. It is perfect for those Healthcare Professionals working in a medical clinic\, dental office\, hospital\, fire department\, physical therapy clinic or ambulance. We will be practicing CPR and the use of an AED for people of all ages. \nWe thoroughly clean/prep the materials and surface areas prior to your arrival. \nCertification: \nAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers valid for 2 years. \nAHA NO LONGER SUPPORTS PRINTED CARDS. YOU WILL RECEIVE A DIGITAL CARD THROUGH YOUR PROVIDED EMAIL ADDRESS in 2-5 business days. \nLocation: \n47703 Fremont Blvd\nFremont\, CA 94538 \nTerms: \n\nYou may cancel/reschedule up to 1 week in advance.\nNo refunds on cancellations/rescheduling with less than 1 week notice.\n\nNote: \nWhen REGISTERING please write you name how it will appear on your certification card. Please use your email address and double check spelling on name and email address. \nCLASSES with less than 10 students may be rescheduled. All classes are payable in advance. Cancellation fees will apply unless 1-week written cancellation notice is given. Cancellation with less than 1 weeks’ notice is non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation with less than one week’s notice or a no show\, student will be placed in a future class. \nThis hands-on\, FUN\, and interactive course will cover infant\, child and adult CPR skills\, rescue breathing\, AED and foreign body airway obstruction. Additional proficiency include hands on practice with the ambu-mask\, ambu-bag and Automated External Defibrillators. \n  \nCOVID-19 Updates: \nCalifornia’s masking guidelines will fall in alignment with those from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The CDC says that fully vaccinated people can resume most activities without physical distancing or face coverings.  \nHowever\, the CDC does recommend that fully vaccinated people continue to wear face coverings when meeting with unvaccinated people\, particularly those at high risk for COVID-19. \nTherefore\, since we are unable to verify those who are and are not vaccinated in our training courses open to the public\, we will require all persons to wash their hands upon entering the facility and to wear a mask or face covering for the duration of the training. A health screening and temperature check will NOT be conducted. \nAlso\, each student will be seated at their own table and will NOT share CPR manikins/dolls or other equipment. Rescue breathing will be taught BUT NOT PRACTICED in any training course for the duration of 2021.  \nThank you for training with us! \n
